As the 2025 #election heats up, both major parties are busy talking about #Medicare and #energy, each with their spin. But no one has mentioned a straightforward idea that could lower the cost of living: a #national_fast_rail. In a country as huge as #Australia, fast trains would mean cheaper, quicker and greener travel between cities. Sadly, it seems the airlines and other big players prefer to keep this off the table. Even the #Greens are busy focusing on topics that are, well… more #yellow than green! Imagine hopping from #Adelaide to #Melbourne in a couple of hours without the airport hassle. It’s affordable, sustainable and smart, so why isn’t anyone talking about it?
